The postponed Branch AGM will now be held in person in the City Library 6.30 pm Tuesday 24 May. Please place this date in your diaries.

We are seeking nominations to the Branch Council and especially to the roles of president and secretary. A number of the existing council have indicated their intention to retire after active service on the committee for many years The roles are not onerous, but if we are realistically to continue as a functioning Branch, the Council desperately needs refreshing and support.  Please do consider this seriously.

Nominations for the Branch Council and for the positions of President and Secretary should be sent to matennant@xtra.co.nz.  Should these nominations need a seconder, a current member of the branch committee will be happy to oblige!

The AGM will be followed by refreshments and a panel discussion on the Te Ara Paerangi Future Pathways Green Paper on the Future of the Research System in New Zealand (further information to follow).
