Craig Johnson is Professor of Veterinary Neurophysiology in Massey University’s Institute of Veterinary, Animal and Biomedical Sciences. Professor Johnson will talk about his research, covering animal welfare; pain perception and control; and developmental and comparative neurobiology. In 2009, Professor Johnson was presented with an award by the Humane Slaughter Association of the UK for significant advances in humane slaughter of farmed livestock.
